My mother-in-law sends out a Christmas photo card every year, and everyone enjoys receiving them as well. The catch here, is that it's a photo card of the grandkids. At the beginning, it was easy, there were only a couple kids and they got dressed in their holiday best and we snapped many photos and poses. Then, things got a little busy, 5 kids, mostly dressed in the best and a little chaotic trying to get them all to stay and look! We had everyone trying to get them to laugh and all the moms are taking pictures and we choose the best! Now...it's just chaos!
We were in town for Thanksgiving and aren't planning on returning until Christmas! So, Sunday afternoon, my in-laws decided to take the picture NOW! So they scrambled to get a tree and decorated it, called all the family and set up a time to meet and to just wear "whatever"! We had 3 cameras flashing, 1 whistle blowing, 2 men making funny sounds, 1 mom bribing with candy, and 7 children not doing what we we were asking of them!
After many pictures and replacing of certain children, we got what we consider is the best photo! Meaning 5 out of 7 kids are looking great! You have to settle or it'll never happen. We did try at one point to just take pictures of the siblings and make a card with 3 photos, but even that proved to be impossible! We'll just go with what we got!

This one is the "keeper", it's the best out of the bunch!
I keep telling my in-laws that we should video what the parents are doing trying to get the kids to smile. It really has to be quite the sight! Or it might just be more true to life and entertaining to have one of the kids snap a picture of all of us trying to get them to smile and send that out! Happy Holidays from our Chaos to Yours!
Wait! Where is Kenna going?
Kenna is shocked, Jaxson is a chicken? and Tanner is picking his nose....Next!
Kenna look this way! Tanner you too...nothing is down there....
No! Go back..."here, I'll give you some candy, but you have to sit in that chair"...
Too late! Kenna' s gone and they have all gone crazy.....let's stick to one from the beginning and call it good! Best 5 kids out of 7...majority rules!
