Nothing Worthy???

So I suddenly realized the reason I haven't posted anything in such a long time, is that I was telling myself there was nothing really to share. Okay, so who am I kidding, my kids bust me up on a day to day basis!!!
I think the actually reality of it all, is that there has been TOO MUCH to share and I just didn't know where to start!
Let's see...since May....Kenna turned 2, Jaxson turned 5! Birthday parties for both, chaos all the way around. In between the fabulous, chaotic, wouldn't have it any other way, parties...DJ and I celebrated our 6th wedding Anniversary which happened to fall on Mother's Day this year! It was a good day, but where does the time go?
We also had a rather uneventful Memorial Day and followed that with Jaxson's awesome Preschool Graduation. It was so fun to be a part of it and I am so proud of how much he has grown and learned this year.
Then there was the girl's weekend in Boise with my mom and sister, which in turn, left Daddy at home for a mommy-free weekend. I think we were all glad to get back to normal. However, I cannot tell you how impressed I was to receive flowers for myself and my mom at the airport, AND the kids were dressed in clothes that looked great. (I should mention that I had a list typed out of outfits though) Even more impressive, was the fact that Kenna's hair was combed and even up in pig tails! When I asked Kenna if she let Daddy do her hair, she told me Grandpa did it! DJ later told me that he couldn't do it so he took her to my dad's house to have him put it up. I guess the practice of raising 3 girls paid off......20 some years later. It was just funny, but I was thoroughly impressed with my Dad's ability and DJ's efforts to make sure she looked nice.
We returned home from Spokane (where I flew out) and had 2 days to catch up on laundry and such, then went to Seattle for a couple days for DJ's cousin's Graduation/Birthday party!
We are now planning for my sister to come up this week and we will head to Spokane for a 4th of July celebration!
Besides all the "events" going on, I have been half-heartedly working on potty training with Kenna, due to all the events and the daily swim lessons......it's hard to do it when you are gone all the time. However, there has been progress, so I will continue to work at it.
So there is my chaotic reason, lame as it may be, for not posting what I thought to be not post worthy! I will try harder!
