Crossing my Fingers!!!

Kenna is showing some early interest in going potty! I have been letting her sit on the potty for the past month and she thinks it is pretty cool. Her favorite part is reaching over and grabbing the toilet paper.....pretending to blow her nose.....and sticking it in the toilet....over and over and over! Well, at least until I remove the toilet paper from out of sight that is!

The other day she said "pobby" which is her version of "potty" so I thought, who am I to discourage her? Besides, diapers are expensive! So I put on the toilet, she sat there for a minute on the big seat, then I got out the smaller one. I set her down and then put her onto the small seat. After a few minutes she said "all done" so I got her down and put a new diaper on. A little while later, I went into the bathroom and noticed a small puddle on the ground. It turned out, she may have gone after all, just not on the toilet (which was really my fault for not having the little seat ready)!

So today, Kenna ran into the kitchen saying pobby again, so I took her in (with the seat on this time). After a minute or two, low and behold.....she went potty! Jaxson and I cheered saying "Yeah Kenna"....so Kenna ran around the house saying "Yeah Nenna".

Hey if she is wanting to potty train early.....then I am certainly not going to stop her....by all means baby, use the toilet! I am crossing my fingers!
