Soccer: The Final Game

Jaxson had his last soccer "game" on Saturday. He had a lot of fun, and lots of support from the sidelines. Nana & Papa and Grandma & Grandpa drove all the way from Spokane to come see him play. I think he was more worried about everyone watching him than what was really going on in the game. Last week he scored 2 goals.....though one of those he actually stole the ball from his own teammate at the goal to make. Either way....it went in! He was so excited!
Daddy had to work on Saturday so he came in his uniform and patrol car, he even had a couple buddies with him to watch. Jaxson thought it was pretty cool that the cops came to watch him play.
When they were divided into teams, Jaxson was given a blue jersey and thus was on the blue team. He walked up to the coach and asked "what team do we want to win?" I told him we want his team to win. Jaxson got all excited and ran to his dad and said "Yeah, Dad guess what, I am on the winning team!" Silly kid!
At the end of the games, they had a little award given to everyone and they even got a medal! Jaxson was so proud of his medal he was literally jumping up and down. He said "Yes, I always wanted a medal!" We had a really great time with the family, had some fun time at the park, played a few games, and ate some yummy food. We enjoyed the visit and look forward to the next!
